In January 2005, Provost Marlene Strathe and members of the Council of Deans approved a variety of incentive pay plans for staff throughout the Division of Academic Affairs. There was agreement among administrators that enhancing the knowledge and skills of staff within the Division of Academic Affairs provides a tremendous benefit to the University community and reinforces the Academic Affairs mission statement that “The Division of Academic Affairs maximizes the development of human talent by creating and fostering a supportive, challenging academic culture.”
Please note that the incentive plans for educational attainment, HRStar, Ambassador, and Leadership Development include the criterion that the ‘employee must maintain “merit” level performance’ to be eligible to receive incentive pay.
