Wellness tip: Sleep well
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, each year more than 100,000 car accidents are attributed to sleepy drivers. Just a one-and-a-half-hour sleep deficit can reduce alertness the following day by one-third. Increasing your physical activity throughout the day, cutting back on late-night eating, and avoiding alcohol can help you get more quality sleep. Wellness tips are brought to you by the OSU Seretean Wellness Center, dedicated to making OSU the Healthiest Campus in America. For more information about services for students, faculty and staff, call 744-WELL (9355).
