OSU-Tulsa student gets $10,000 scholarship

Emma Smith, aerospace administration and operations senior, was awarded a $10,000 scholarship from the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading Foundation to pursue her master’s degree in aviation and space science this fall. She was one of seven scholarship winners in the U.S. ISTAT is dedicated to fostering and promoting interest and educational opportunities in commercial aviation.

OSU-CHS gets $20,000 for cancer research for fifth year
Cancer Sucks, Inc., has donated $20,000 to support cancer research at the OSU Center for Health Science in Tulsa. This is the fifth consecutive year OSU-CHS has received funding from Cancer Sucks, Inc. Its founder, Rick Horton, began the organization in memory of his mother, Donna Holland White, who died in 1996.
