Wellness tip: Don't be tied to the scales
Does the number on your bathroom scale determine your mood for the day? For some, even a small weight gain can create a cycle of frustration, making them turn to food for comfort, which only perpetuates the problem. First, remember that small daily weight changes can be due to fluid changes or clothing. Don’t tie your self-worth to the number on the scale. Shift from being weight-centered to being health-centered. Eat healthy, stay active and feel good about yourself. Wellness tips are brought to you by the OSU Seretean Wellness Center, dedicated to making OSU the Healthiest Campus in America.
