First Sally Vielma Memorial Barrel Race on Saturday
Barrel races for peewees to adults will be held Saturday, May 14, at the OSU Rodeo Arena to fund an OSU Rodeo Scholarship in the name of the late Sally Watkins Vielma. Vielma had a passion for the OSU team and worked for years to establish a scholarship for team members. For entry information, click here.
Parking permits valid through August 31
Current permits for faculty, staff and students will be valid through August 31. Online permit sales will start August 1 and include the first price increase in 12 years. This year, OSU employees will have the option to take advantage of a pre-tax payroll deduction to pay for their parking permit over a nine month period.
 Savings checklist for summer vacations
Remember to turn off all computers, monitors, speakers, non-networked printers, lights, and other electronic equipment, close all window blinds and tilt slats upward to keep unoccupied spaces from heating up. If needed, remove plants from window sills, empty refrigerators and prop doors open. For more, click here.
