Convocation 2010And the winner is...
Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Regents Professor Don Lucca was awarded the Eminent Faculty Award during Fall Convocation Tuesday.  This award recognizes the highest level of scholarly achievement at OSU.  Vice President David Bosserman, Dean Michael Lorenz and Dean Karl Reid also received the university Loyal and True Award.

Tobacco Free campusSee architecture in France photo exhibit
A photography exhibit titled “Portraits: A Selection of the Architecture of France” will be displayed in the architecture gallery, now through Nov.10, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The photographs are by Randy Seitsinger, professor and head of the School of Architecture. All the photos were taken during trips on the school’s Summer European Studies Program. They can be purchased for $20 each with all proceeds funding a scholarship for the 2011 School of Architecture Summer European Studies Program.

Intervarsity Forum on “born again” research
Intervarsity Forum will offer an initial release of research findings on OSU students who consider themselves to be “born again” Christians on Thursday, Nov. 4, from noon  - 1:30 p.m. in Willard Hall room 241. Dr. Dale Fuqua, Regents Professor of Educational Studies, and doctoral candidate Angela Watson will share the sometimes shocking and other times confounding words of today’s college students as they share what “born again” means to them.
