OSU released the following statement from Tim Eaton regarding his daughter Timber Eaton, Oklahoma State University student diagnosed last week with meningitis:
“Timber is making steady recovery and her doctors tell us she is entering the recovery stage. Her condition has stabilized but remains critical. We appreciate the prayers and thoughts so many have offered our family. Timber has a long road ahead, but we can’t express our joy at her recovery thus far,” Tim Eaton said.
In addition, OSU announced that a fund has been set up for Timber Eaton and her family at BancFirst. The fund will help the Eaton family with immediate and future financial needs in connection to Timber’s illness and recovery. Checks should be written to Timber Eaton Fund. Deposits can be made at any BancFirst location across Oklahoma.
